About designer Stefan Diez:
Born in 1971 in Munich. He studied industrial design at the art academy in Stuttgart. After a period as assistant designer for Richard Sapper in the US and Konstantin Grcic in Munich, Diez founded his own design studio in 2002 in his home town.
Stefan Diez is the winner of numerous design prizes, among them the "Design Report Award" for the storage system BIG BIN and the "Material Innovation Award"from the international furniture fair in Cologne.
